.::Spoken English classes in all State-run schools soon::.

Empowering the student community with the importance of communication skills and English language to excel in their chosen career, District Educational Officer K. Lingaiah said that they were planning to conduct spoken English classes in all government high schools very soon.
Speaking after releasing a first-of-its-kind diary brought out by the Zilla Parishad High School in Shanigaram village of Koheda mandal on Wednesday, the DEO said that they were also preparing special spoken English books for the benefit of students, which would be distributed to the students after the launch of the spoken English classes in all high schools in the district. He also called upon the student community to learn the English language by reading English newspapers regularly.
Claiming that the government teachers were well trained compared to their private counterparts, he said that the government teachers had worked with dedication and secured first rank in the SSC pass percentage in March 2012.

He hoped that the teachers would perform a hat-rick with regard to the SSC pass percentage.

Former ZPTC member K. Srihari was present.
