Information for Students:
The 'Doodle 4 Google – Unity in Diversity' competition is open to all students attending a school in India.
Doodles will be judged in the following categories:
- Group 1: Class 1-3
- Group 2: Class 4-6
- Group 3: Class 7-10
Taking part in the competition is a simple process:
- Download the form and fill in all necessary details
- Review and download the doodle material
- Follow the instructions on designing your doodle
- After you're done submit your doodle
- Remember to add a title and a supporting statement for your doodle before you submit it
- Don't forget to read and understand the Terms & Conditions
Design guidelines:
- The doodle should be presented on a white, landscape sheet of A4 paper.
- You can download the Google logo template from our Doodle Resources page.
- The doodle can be in pencil, crayons, felt tip, paint, or can be done using computer drawing or design software.
- If you are using a computer drawing/ design software to create your doodle, we advise you to draw/ create the doodle yourself. We will not be able to accept doodles that have been created through pre-existing images.
- We cannot accept entries using additional materials to create 3D effects.
- Please note that under relevant laws of India use of the National Flag, and other national symbols such as the Ashok Chakra are not permitted when designing your doodle.

- Remember: The winning doodle will be displayed on the Google India homepage (www.google.co.in). Please ensure the Google logo is clearly visible and recognizable.
Remember: Your submission MUST contain all required personal details, a title for your doodle and a supporting statement. Simply follow the instructions on the

How your school can participate?
We would love to have you actively promote this initiative within your school.All participants can submit their Doodles to us either directly or through the school. You may choose to collect completed doodles from students at your school and send them to us. Please note the deadlines and submission guidelines in the
Submitting Your Doodle page. If you are submitting doodles for your school please ensure you have read the
Terms & Conditions carefully and registered your school.
Register your school Now by emailing us at:
indiad4g@google.com. All the participating schools will get a participation certificate from Google.
Here are a few tips and suggestions to help you guide your students design their doodles.
Champ of the School:
This year we are introducing a special contest called Champ of the School. Any school with over 350 entries is eligible for the Champ of the School Contest. The eligible school's art teacher will pick the best Doodle from amongst the students of the respective school. The winner/Champ of the School will receive:
- Certificate
- Google Goodie Bag
