Cambridge Global Perspectives – new support resources
More and more schools worldwide are teaching Cambridge Global Perspectives – a cross-curricular subject available at Cambridge Secondary 2 and Cambridge Advanced stage. It helps schools broaden students’ learning and develop their independent thinking and research skills. We’ve just launched some new resources for Global Perspectives teachers and are developing an exciting online platform to support planning and teaching. Learn more.
Cambridge International A Level syllabus review – we need your views
If you teach Cambridge International AS and A Level please look out for our email surveys in January 2013. We'll be asking you to comment on development proposals for our most popular Cambridge International AS and A Level syllabuses, for examination in 2015. It's all part of our continuous programme of improvement, and follows our review of Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level syllabuses.
Cambridge Publications Catalogue now available
The new issue of the Cambridge Publications Catalogue is now on our website. It lists all the Cambridge publications available for each education stage, such as syllabuses, mark schemes and past papers. You can purchase printed copies of the materials by completing the order form on our website. Many of the publications are available to download free from Teacher Support, our secure site for Cambridge teachers.

Cambridge Chemistry Challenge starts this month online
It's time once again to get your learners involved in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, a popular online competition that encourages students to think creatively about science. Developed by chemists at the University of Cambridge, the competition runs from November 2012 to June 2013. There is a different challenge posted online each month. Take this month's challenge.
Learners in the UK can also take the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge written exam. This year’s winners were announced recently (pictured above), including some Cambridge Pre-U students. Learn more.

Over the next few months we’re holding courses for teachers in Pakistan, USA, UK, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and China.
Making life easier for Cambridge exams officers
We’re launching free online training for Cambridge exams officers early next year. It’s our latest initiative to support this important role. The training is flexible and easy-to-use – ideal for new exams officers and those wanting a refresher. There will be a training module for each phase of the Cambridge Exams Cycle and it can be accessed at any time through our professional development training website. Look out for more news next year.

November 2012 exam series: results will be available on CIE Direct on 22 January 2013. June 2013 exam series: results will be available on CIE Direct on 13 August 2013.
